We write to inform you that the Halal Industry Development Corporation (HDC) of Malaysia has successfully organised the first International Conference on Research Advances in Halal Science in Kuala Lumpur on 28-29 November 2007. The conference provided an excellent platform for internationally renowned and local expertise in the area of Research and Development in Halal Industry to network and share their findings and experiences. Among the attendees were Syariah experts and Halal Scientists from academic, government and Islamic bodies.
2. Due to the overwhelming response and feedback from the participants, HDC will be organizing World Halal Research (an International Conference on Halal Science) from 07th – 08th May 2009 in Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Malaysia. This conference will focus on creating opportunities through science, packed with inspiring speakers and delegates to share knowledge and experiences in Halal science and technology.
